01
Bush flight to central serengeti.

After early breakfast, collect your lunch boxes and transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your bush flight to central Serengeti.

After arrival, you will be picked up by your Tanzanian safari driver-guide.

Proceed for a game drive in central Serengeti where you will spend your full day exploring the vast Serengeti and its endless plains. The drive through the central Serengeti is in the golden light of dawn looking for special wildlife interactions where you will explore different areas of the central Serengeti. Areas that will be visited are the Retima Hippo pool, Maasai and Sametu kopjes and plains as well as Moru and Simba kopjes. The Central Serengeti and Seronera river valley is home to a great diversity of wildlife due to its unique ecological niches as a transition zone where two distinctly different habitats, the plain and the woodlands merge and various species of wildlife from both habitats can coexist.

Meals and overnight stay: Sametu tented Camp or similar

DAY02
Exploring central serengeti national park- south serengeti and ndutu forest.

Head for a game viewing around Central Serengeti plains in the golden light of dawn looking for special wildlife interactions and photographic opportunities. You will have an opportunity to search for the biggest herds of the great migration.

Spend your full day of game viewing exploring different areas of the central Serengeti. Areas that will be visited are the Retima Hippo pool, Maasai and Sametu kopjes and plains as well as Moru and Gol Kopjes. The Central Serengeti and Seronera river valley is home to a great diversity of wildlife due to its unique ecological niches as a transition zone where two distinctly different habitats, the plain and the woodlands merge and various species of wildlife from both habitats can coexist.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a game drive en route to Ndutu.

Dinner and overnight stay: Lake Masek Tented Camp or similar

DAY03
Exploring south serengeti and ndutu forest-ngorongoro conservation area authority.

Enjoy a full day of game viewing exploring the southern Serengeti plains and the Ndutu forest, which is home to the enormous migratory herds of wildebeest and zebras during the wet season. The wildebeest migrations will most likely be spread across the green plains of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the southern Serengeti from December to May.

Explore Lake Masek, Lake Ndutu, the Hidden Valley, Kusini Valley and the Kakesio Plains during your game drives. In addition to the large migratory herds, predators will be abundant and easily seen. Cheetah densities will be at the highest as many have followed the migratory Thomson’s gazelles onto the southern and eastern plains. Lions should be easily visible, both resident prides and the nomads which have followed the wildebeest and zebras onto the plains.

Late in the afternoon, drive to Ngorongoro Highlands.

Meals and overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa lodge or similar.

DAY04
Exploring ngorongoro crater-arusha-fly back home

After an early breakfast, collect your lunch boxes and at around 05:45 and drive to Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend into the crater for an in-depth exploration of this distinctive ecosystem.

Enjoy abundant wildlife viewing set against the impressive backdrop of the Ngorongoro Crater, the heart of the conservation area. These drives provide one of the best opportunities in Africa to view black rhino, who tend to spend their time on the crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthral visitors. Another big drawcard to this picturesque Caldera is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, and if lucky enough, you will have chance to see the small cats like the Rare Caracal, Serval cat as well as the African wild cat which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

Sit for a picnic breakfast will be served at one of the picnic sites on the crater floor.

Followed by another game viewing visiting the hippo pool near the Mandusi Swamp, Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner which is one of the main features of the crater, the Lerai forest as well as other parts of the crater.
